Re: Auditioning for 2017

DD loved her day at Bodyworks yesterday. Interesting though that she was told you are strong enough to do the level 6 Diploma but I think you would be better to do the Foundation first. She also had comments about being 15. I am beginning to wonder if this is normal at 15 and that students coming s...

Re: September 2016 starters

DD starts Bodyworks tomorrow as a first year student after doing Foundation there. She got up this morning to wave her Foundation housemates off to college - she said she felt like a proud mum ! It's also her 18th birthday tomorrow and her one wish was to spend it in college - says a lot for the sta...

Re: Top Talent

My DD was with Top Talent for 3 years. Didnt get a lot of castings but this was due to her age / height and certainly not due to the efforts of the agency. Warren Bacci continues to be supportive of my DD in all she does and I found him to be an excellent, professional agent. If you need any more in...

Warning about Letting Agencies

We are in the process of disputing the amount deducted from DD's deposit via a letting agency for her first year at college. Please please don't leave the students to sign up tenancy agreements without you looking over the agreement, especially for the first year. We read DD's tenancy agreement over...

Re: What to do at 18 - places but reserve lists

My DD did the Foundation / BTEC at Bodyworks and is just coming to the end of her foundation year there. She has auditioned and been offered places with funding but has chosen to stay at Bodyworks with full Dada. I would think if you did a foundation course it is highly unlikely that you be offered ...

Re: Auditioning for 2016

Wondering why you would attend a funding audition if you were being considered for foundation at Urdang ?
I didnt think you got funding for foundation courses so there's no way you'd think you were being considered for one if you were at the funding audition ?? How very odd of them !

Re: Auditioning for 2016

It's highly likely my DD will be turning down a place at Urdang to stay at Bodyworks so I imagine there is a lot of movement on reserve lists at the moment.
Funding audition for Bodyworks is on Monday - good luck to all attending.

Re: Auditioning for 2016

Does anyone know if Millennium were at Move it this year? We're interested to see any recent performance footage as DD has a place there for September but can't find much about the school other than the website! No Millennium don't do any performances at Move It - neither do they have a stand for i...

Re: Auditioning for 2016

Hi there, I'm new to this forum. My dd is currently in her first year of a BTEC level 3 extended diploma in dance in Leeds and isn't happy. She has only just sent off applications to Bird and Urdang so we'll wait and see but we are keen for her to finish her two year course. Does anyone have any ex...

Re: Auditioning for 2016

My DD was at Millennium audition on the 22nd too, they may have met as there weren't so many there! How did she feel the day went? Did you attend the tour and parent Q&A? I wasn't able to so if you have any information to pass on I'd be very grateful :D Sorry dancingmoll - cant help you as I wa...
