Re: Are ballet and tap lessons essential for musical theatre

hi, sorry I can't be of much help as we are very new to it, but was wondering, in terms of exams for young dancers, are there any that are regarded higher than others? what should I be looking for in a dance class for my little girl so that it is not purely for leisure but professional? thanks

Re: Casting Agency

they have alot of kids on their books and they charge alot to join, so I would firstly apply to Kids London, Bruce & Brown, Grace & galor, BOnnie & Betty, Alphabet Kidz & Urban Angels (although the books are now closed) and see if you get accepted by any of these.

Re: u-tube links

Yes, you can download and save videos from you tube to your computer. In order to do this you need Real Player installed on your computer. Then you get the weblink to the video from youtube (from the address bar on the internet), put it into the address bar in real player and when it starts playing,...

finding choir?

Hello all,
Just a couple of quick questions. Can anyone advise how I can find which choirs my dc can join in the local area? Is there a website where they would be listed? Like, say, you have a website to help you find a music tutor? Is there anything like this for singing opportunities? Many thanks!

showreel advice please

Hello, Please can someone advise. My son has done 3 "things" now (he is just 6), one TVC and two short films. I am thinking I could probably have a showreel made with it now. Is this enough to use in a show reel or should I wait till he's done more things? How long should a showreel be? th...

Re: Annie

Saw this in the local rag. Might be a good opportunity! (not quite sure about the 300 supporting cast though :? ) SHOPPERS could get the chance to take to the stage thanks to a series of musical auditions. Lewisham Shopping centre is hosting the auditions for top musical Annie in the run-up to its ...

Re: Which modelling agency should I go for?

Today I also received a reply from Tuesday Child Agency. They do require to meet and interview all applicants and charges one off of 120 with free photo test. The money will refunded in case the child cant be accepted after the photos are assessed. Anyone ever worked with Tuesday Child. I read the ...
