Re: NYT results day
Just seen this. DS was also lucky this year after a no last year (which was fully expected - even more delighted to have the yes this time). It's going to be an expensive summer as he is also doing NYMT, but he's 17 and has a part time job so can contribute. He's trying to decide between applying f...

Re: NYT results day
Thank you, she’s 16. From what I understand they prefer them to be a little older. Your dc did well to get so far and next time will be more experienced and mature, so will stand a better chance.

Famestreet.com
Does anyone know of or has any experience of famestreet.com website? Dd mentioned it to me, I had a quick look and I have the impression it’s similar to Mandy. I personally have never heard of it, I’d like to find out if it’s reputable (or not). Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
I am just wondering if anyone has any advice/ experience of the ArtsEd foundation acting course which is mainly held at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. Many Thanks I would also be curious to hear about the degree straight acting course at ArtsEd - I don’t remember seeing any mention of it on here. I...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Providing you qualify and are offered a dada (which I understand are very difficult to get), do you only have to pay the student contribution fees stated on the income scales, or are there other fees on top of that? That's all you pay for tuition fees. Income brackets here. https://www.gov.uk/gover...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Is that £10k extra a year or over 3 years? And why can’t you borrow the £9250? Sorry about all these questions, dd will be auditioning for next year so I’ve just started looking at cost. I find it all a bit confusing. Thanks It would be nearly £10k a year! Fees are over £15k per year and you can on...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
This is it, we’re not willing to risk it, as we weren’t with eldest dd, was just hoping there was some magical mystery pot of gold dished out that I wasn’t aware of but looks like she’ll have to give these a miss, we can manage a few thousand top up but not nearly £10k unfortunately, wouldn’t be qu...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Not posted here for a while but love reading on everyone else’s success stories. Was a regular poster when my eldest dd was auditioning and she is now in 2nd year at Wilkes. My younger dd is now looking to audition to start in Sept ‘23 but whilst she is as good a dancer, dancing is her least favour...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Hi, Congratulations to everyone with offers so far, and fingers crossed for those still waiting to hear. We will be embarking on the audition road next year so I’m reading every post with enthusiasm. There doesn’t seem to be any mention of straight acting so I was wondering if there’s anyone auditi...
