Re: Casting Director
Hi JaneJoyce, You do sound very happy with BDiscovered and they appear to have done a terrific job of getting auditions for your DD. So I have to ask, why would you want to have another agent? I may be wrong, but wouldn't it sour your relationship with them if they were sending out your DD's details...

Re: Edina Menzel and Michael Buble video
I just watched it with a silly grin all over my face . The children are all adorable - and I love the credits for them at the end, such a good idea.
Ooh! I'm starting to feel a bit Christmassy .

Re: RADA Auditions
I'm doing a little project and one of the other team members works for RADA - I mentioned how time consuming and expensive auditioning was - he told me they auditioned over 4000 people and took less than 30. Wow! RADA charge an audition fee of £45 (or £85 if you leave it a little late) so it's cert...

Re: logging in
Have you ticked the "log me on automatically each time I visit" box under the sign in?
Sorry if you're saying: "Well, yeah, d'uh!" but it was a while before I sussed out that shortcut.

If you go on MoneySavingExpert.com and look up 'travel insurance' there is lots of really good information about which policy would be best for you and links to the companies selling them.

Re: Any Gilbert & Sullivan buffs out there?
My ds did Pirates Of Penzance at school earlier this year. Like you, I knew nothing about G&S but absolutely fell in love with it. I'm not a musician but I think "Oh, is there not one maiden breast?" sung by Frederick, might suit very well.

Re: 6th form Boarding Schools with Strong Drama Departments
State boarding schools are rare but I know of Thomas Adams School and College in Shropshire. It is a state school with a boarding facility. The website has lots of info http://www.thomasadams.org.uk I don't have personal experience of the school, but a headteacher we knew sent both her sons there, a...

Re: Hard work or talent?
What a great topic for discussion :D . I think in most areas of life, talent will only get you so far - it's persistence and self-motivation that really brings rewards. I strongly agree with TalyaB that supportive parents (who can afford all the time and expense) are a huge advantage. But if I could...

Re: TOP TALENT AGENCY AUDITIONS
I am glad flosmum that you find it funny. Because I don't find any of the truth a giggle at all! Bit harsh, we all make mistakes and in this case I am sure there is another side to the story, it certainly brought a distraction form the wind and the rain for an afternoon. What is clear is that there...

Re: Daisy and Dukes
My ds is represented by Top Talent, and if this is true (and I'm no Columbo, but it looks pretty damning) then I am very disappointed. Could it be a stitch up? PWilliams, prove us wrong. My ds's contract is up for renewal and I am having second thoughts about signing .

Re: In Box
I can only offer the advice I learnt from watching The IT Crowd: have you tried turning your computer off and on again? Joking apart, it really does seem to fix most glitches so it might be worth trying. Good luck .
