Re: Auditioning for 2016

Here is a link to the DaDa income/support bands if anyone is interested! Quite useful for assessing whether those "non-student loan" colleges could be affordable...or not! https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... o_2016.pdf

Re: Auditioning for 2016

Bird, Urdang, Arts Ed, GSA, Millennium, Chichester Uni, Central, Mountview ... Any more colleges that can be recommended for musical theatre, where loans are potentially available before my dd and I start to apply this weekend!? We're looking to do as many as possible!

Re: Auditioning for 2016

GSA have 2 rounds of auditions. One short audition , then a second recall audition.Surely, they should not feel the need to then look at the academic abilities of theses students as well. It is vastly unfair that some are admitted with 'just' a BTEC, and others have to get really high grades. This ...

Re: September 2015

From experience, around what dates were peoples recall auditions for colleges? Does anyone know when the latest ones tend to be? Only my DD is planning on doing some travelling after her auditions are through but were struggling to get to grips with when she'll be able to go!

Re: September 2015

Does any one know if when dcs are at performing arts college they'll have to pay for prescriptions or do they get them free still? Because when they ask they say 'are you in full time education' and surely 30 hours a week constitutes as full time!?

Re: Auditioning for 2016

Shes going for Urdang, Bird, Performers, G...

Really helpful replies, thank you both very much for your inside info! That's interesting about the costumes, I wonder what kind of sizes they're looking for! any one know what kind of height they look for in a girl? Did either of your DC have to sing at the audition or see anyone that did? I think ...

Open Call Disney Audtions

Hey all, my dd is planning on attending the upcoming open call audition in London on the 21st/21nd of July for Disney Land Paris character performers and parade dancers. She's a bit unsure of what to expect as the poster doesn't offer much clue as what to expect, what she'll have to do, songs and mo...
