Re: Let's Dance sketch

I went on to Stars in my eyes and copied this: Please email Luke O'Callaghan at WhizzKid via email luke.o'callaghan@whizzkid.tv as soon as possible. Make sure you have at least one headshot on your profile before applying. A telephone call is the preferred method of contact due to the urgency of thi...

wedding reading by 8 year old

My older dd is getting married in May and has asked her 8 year old sister to do a reading. Any suggestions? It could be a reading, poem or song. I've looked on a few sites but can't find anything suitable.

Re: Youtube?

We do have a large garden, but there is no ruined Abbey in it! (I wish) :D
It was a beautiful setting in Leeds, with a playground very near by which dd loved. We always try to find a playground nearby when she has finished filming, so this was ideal.

u-tube links

Can anyone tell me how you get a link off u tube? I know how to get the encripting code but they are really long and I've seen a few links on this forum that are very short. I'm a bit of a technophobe so the simpler the better.

Re: Passport

It has to be signed for, but not necessarily by the person the passport is for, so as long as someone is at home to sign that will be ok. We renewed our passports last year and I signed for all of them. I was out when they came with one and they came back two hours later (so the chap told me told me).

Re: Brain AVM

I watched Secret Millionaire last night and the chap went to a centre where he met a man who had had an AVM (as has the millionaire's brother several years ago). It was very moving to watch his determination, he even went rock climbing, even though he is wheel chair bound. Good luck to your nephew, ...

Re: New and a bit confused (re Bizzykidz)

I agree with sohpiesock. My DD has been acting for 9 months and has done over a dozen short films, three feature films and two theatre runs, mostly through me trawling the internet. With all the experience she has gained 'off our own back' the agents and Cds are taking her seriously and she has been...

You could turn the tables and go as each other, you as you husband and him as you, them when people ask YOU who you have come as your musband can say ME and when they ask you husband then You can say ME.

Re: Absence from school for audition

The rules are : if a child is taking time off school to take part in a performance, if they are getting paid, if people are paying to watch or if the production is being broadcast / broadcastable (ie a film, even a student film) then the child should get a licence, however many LEAs bend the rules f...

Re: Absence from school for audition

If your child is taking time off school to perform - paid or unpaid, they need a licence (though not for auditions).

Re: Lambent productions - Young Performers

I spoke to this lady too, she was very interesting and interested. It is for an ITV fly on the wall type programme. My DD is too young but they said they were interested in using her for another programme in the new year - I await more information.
