Re: Brand new agency help please?
Yes,every agency I have had meetings with expect a years contract, I think however there are get out clauses if you want to leave earlier. Even the more well known agencies wanted us to sign for a year x

Re: Brand new agency help please?
Yes I think you are right, it's the face to face that is putting me off abit, she did say we could meet if we prefer or we can do a Skype call if it's easier for us being northern based. The lady was very nice, seemed to know a lot and was very honest. I'm tempted to try them out as is only a year and...

They will be a boutique agency but have stated they don't need to meet her as videos are enough for them, however are happy to do a Skype call? I was told to avoid ones that don't meet you ...

How many agency auditions?

We have had 2 auditions so far, both nos but with good feedback but I didn't get the feeling they were right for us either way. Do you just know when you find the right one or is it a case of ...

Re: Northern Agency recommendations??
Thankyou :) yes I think it does depend on agency, some we have seen are very adamant about us doing whatever they say and others are open and said they would put us forward for northern when they can. I wasn't sure what the etiquette is as its all new really for us! So difficult to know what the righ...

Northern Agency recommendations??
Hi, we are Northern based and have had a few meetings with some London based agencies. I am now beginning to wonder if we should perhaps be looking closer to home or if it doesn't really matter? I'm aware 95% of castings are in the south,I'm just unsure of whether northern agencies would get better ...

Re: Losing an accent?! HELP!!
Haha I bet it is my DD goes very northern when she's at her grandmas house but with us she is fairly standard so I guess that could class as an accent haha! I have just read back my last comment and am surprised anybody could decipher it haha! Will teach me for typing on the train!

Re: Losing an accent?! HELP!!
True she has a very slight normthern twanfto certain words but not an accent as such so I think she would find standard pretty easy with some help, not sure on the accents though haha, might have to attempt those when she's abit older haha x

Re: Losing an accent?! HELP!!
I think I worded it wrong, they asked if she was capable of standard accent, the agent did say it doesn't matter, just would open up more castings for her,we aren't actually with the agent as yet but I was just a little confused as to what it was with being a newbie haha x

Losing an accent?! HELP!!
Hi, my DD has been asked by A and J management if she is able to loose her accent?! Any ideas if they mean to replicate other accents or to make her sound more "neutral"? To be honest I think she pretty much has a neutral accent anyway so I'm a little confused! Any advice welcome please, w...
