Screen Terrier no more
I was sad to see that 'last post' from screen terrier yesterday evening. DD has had lots of opportunities through that site and we will be sad to see it go.

Re: School of rock musical
Whilst in London on Wednesday to See Harry Potter we saw posters everywhere for this and our hotel was opposite the theatre it will be in. DD kept saying she wanted to see it (she got offered an audition but was in Gypsy at the time so couldn't go - and will be too old next round!) I had already boo...

Everyone involved and everything was so professional and awe inspiring - I may sit down and read the books this week...

Have you tried contacting the photographer, they probably get asked about it all the time? There is probably an easy solution. Looking forward to seeing Ns new head shots.

Re: Trinity or Lamda?
Another one to consider is LCM (London College of Music). My dd did her grade 6 in Musical theatre singing at the age of 11 and hadn't considered the UCAS points that came with it. She enjoyed singing songs from different eras and researching the composers/lyricists e.t.c that comes with the higher ...

Re: *Newbie - First Time Post*
Here's an interesting example for you. Two friends applied for the same musical theatre degree course. Both got 4 A levels, both English, Drama and GS, the difference was one did history the other music for their 4th A level. The music student had Trinity acting, grade 8 in two instruments and LCM s...

Re: Tutoring on set for a home schooled DCs
When my dd was home schooled she still had the mandatory 3 hours a day. When I taught the SOM tour children there were a mix of educational experiences. One was home schooled several from stage schools, private schools and state schools. they all did the same, though some did not come with any work ...

Re: confusion between different boards
my dd did IDTA up to grade 3 then swapped to RAD for grade 4 and there was a massive leap in not only technical but quantity and presentation.
