Been looking at things that says Spotlight is good if you can travel up to London at short notice! Given that we live up North and DD is in year 10, doing GCSEs, is this a good thing that we should be doing? And if anybody has Spotlight can you pls tell me how much school etc she would actually miss...

We live in the North West so it’s been a lot harder to find agencies for my 15 year old DD who loves all acting and musical theatre - her singing teacher’s daughter tried out for this management a few years ago and didn’t get in but the teacher said she really trusted them and it was a great environ...

I’m in almost the same situation as you! DD is 15, Yeat 10 at school and has tons of stage, acting and singing experience but almost no TV or Film experience! The difference with us is we are up north so it’s a lot harder to find agencies! X

Also does anyone know what kind of singing they are looking for? DD is really mainly trained in Musical Theatre songs and classic songs, doing ABRSM grades etc! X

People who emailed in with details, how long was it before you got a reply? Wondering how long to wait before getting giving up hope! X
