Hello,
Anyone going to the Little Revolution Community Chorus recruitment day tomorrow?
Is there anything/shops in the area around the Almeida theatre where I can keep younger DD occupied for a hour as we won't have time to head into Central London?
Thanks very much

Re: Spotlight pages
Hi, Is there anyone who has had an agent in the past and therefore Spotlight but doesn't have an agent now but still has a spotlight page? Only DD's agent is through her drama group and she will have to finish with them in August to take up longer training in September but that doesn't co-incide wit...

Re: Globe Young Players 2015
And also by the way, if you have DD and DS's interested in Shakespeare, they should audition for Junior Guildhall Drama Section (Saturdays) as my DD has been studying Shakespeare there for the last 2 or 3 years and she loves it.

Re: Globe Young Players 2015
Surely if they are going to run another audition this year, there would have been publicity by now? I remember last year we all had to email to say we were interested and then when they finally got round to telling us the audition dates, which were extremely limited by the way, quite a few of us cou...

Hi Begolina, It was my DD who was in the final last year  I've replied to noonebanana on her other post on the Congratulations page but have only just seen your post. Glad you enjoyed it last year - the students definitely did  The companies that get through to the last ten have to wait th...

Re: Is anyone at U-Dance on Sunday?
Is your DD performing in it? We only go to watch DD, in fact, DH said after last night, 'shame their dance was at the end of the show ....' We wouldn't stop being part of it but I think sometimes the people who organise our company do take a bit much for granted, with some of the venues being a hour...

Re: Is anyone at U-Dance on Sunday?
Hi Katymac, My DD did it last year with her contemporary group - she had a good time, long day though. There's also a 3 day festival at Bedford University this weekend for dance. DD's group were there yesterday and we went to watch in the evening - very peculiar what the performers do now! Didn't ge...

Looking for Prom Dresses
Hi
Was planning on going to Cambridge on Saturday to look for a prom dress for my daughter but if anyone can suggest or recommend any shops in the area, I would be very grateful!
Thanks

Work Experience at RSC
Hello, Does anyone have experience of the process for Y10/11 work experience at the RSC, Stratford? DD has been shortlisted for an interview and group discussion in March and I wondered if there was anyone who has attended in the last couple of years or who has been lucky enough to get through to th...

Re: Sixth Form options
Hi,
Yes, we spoke to your DD last term and she told us then about her experience at the college which is why we don't want to go there. Don't know why school are being so difficult - it's not as if she's going to change careers and become a scientist

Sixth Form options
Hi, Are we too late to look at auditioning for musical theatre for Y12/13? DD was planning to stay on at her school but they are being awkward (trying to change the level of her GCSEs following a couple of bad Science mocks) and DH has suggested she looks elsewhere. Don't really want to do the neare...

Re: Options!!! Music vs History
Hi, We were recommended that if a student is academically minded then they should do GCSE music rather the BTEC music. Music GCSE is hard (I agree with all the other comments on this). My DD is doing History and Music and History was her last resort as the school wouldn't let her do all 3 options sh...

Re: The Light Princess
DD persuaded us at very short notice over Christmas to go and see this and we went on New Year's Eve for the Matinee. I agree it was absolutely magical how they did it all and would certainly recommend it to anyone who's thinking about it.
