Re: Children and busking(for love not money!)

In our city (York) you can apply for a busking licence & it is issued for a specific period in time. The buskers have to have an 'audition in action' before the licence is issued. Also ,there may be areas in the city which don't allow busking eg a shopping complex, so you may have to apply for p...

Re: NYT

They both did well to get a recall, the numbers applying seem to be huge! DD said she definitely wants to try again next year, she felt that the workshop was worth the audition fee. Hopefully next time she will be more prepared & have taken advice on the best style of monologue to learn!

Re: NYT

Don't know if I dare to admit this, but I don't understand all of the options available  DD went the the 1 day workshop/audition in Manchester earlier this year, we were not really prepared as only had info which we read on here & on the NYT website. She enjoyed the workshop but didn't get...

Whilst it would be lovely to meet all you S E NAPM's, it is probably just a little too far for 'lil 'ole me' to ventu...

Re: Casting Director Drama Workshop - York

Ahhh that's a shame Panda! :? Will let you know if we organise something for the younger age groups. Jo is a fantastic drama coach, dd really enjoys some of the more 'gritty' drama sessions she has taken part in with her. Yes I hope that we get a good response too :) The facilities at Manor School a...

Re: How do I view my Spotlight page?

Your agent should be able to give you your update pin so you can add any credits you may get. Alternatively, you can have a view only pin, if your agent prefers to do their own updates to your page. If you ask they will tell you one of your pins, I am sure that there is nothing they would want to hi...

Re: Waterloo Road

I understand they use extra's from age 12, although so far in this series of filming I don't think they have used any 12 year olds due to the length of hours they can work under license. (According to dd's agent) DD is 13 today, so license in place & waiting for that call!!!!! [-o< [-o< [-o<
