Completely the opposite ! Agents were very keen to sign non-white students. Shows such as Lion King , Miss Saigon, Hamilton etc are current and colourblind casting is the norm for all shows now. DS says that being white British is a disadvantage .

You do not need a confirmed place to apply for student funding. Applications need to be in by 31st May to have it in place for September. You can apply after that but money will be delayed.

A definite no to wearing jeans for song/interview. A pretty top with a pair of trousers or skirt or a dress. Shoes not trainers.
