Re: Miss Saigon closing!
Sounded like it was going to transfer to broadway but waiting for a theatre? 2 years is a long time for a revival. Not sure what to make of Aladdin though, glad to see something new coming to town.
Re: Agent
Can be quite normal depending on what's out there and his look, height etc.

Re: Please share your Panto juvenile experiences
My DS did Peter Pan and absolutely loved it. Pay was rubbish and worse for the girl but he had an amazing time. I've chaperoned a couple of times for other pantos and think they're a great experience - filled with lots of festive fun and laughs.

Re: Where to buy West End tickets from cheaply?
Last minute.com is good - I got tickets to see The Nether for £12
Also LOVE THEATRE have some good deals - think you need to sign up for their newsletter though
Ask on here for any cast ticket? Sometimes BE, Les Mis and Matilda kids/parents can all get reduced rates

Re: how to ask my agent?
I agree - I think you just need an honest conversation with them.
I did see on another thread though that young performers on spotlight can be up to 21, depending on playing age. So perhasp you could check that first?

Re: Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe Casting
Saw railway children recently - great production but thoroughly spoiled by the adults playing the kids roles. They looked ridiculous. As they had to licence kids for the ensemble parts I'm not sure why they had to use adults for the main roles.

Re: Not-so-lovely Chaperones?
I think the chaperones are generally strict to ensure the kids remain safe and understand the rules of the theatre. I think it's rather like teachers too - the kids just need to get used to different personality styles. If you feel it's really bad though - it's not worth making your child unhappy ev...

Re: Anybody ever been to a premiere?!
Many many years ago we bought tickets for the premiere to Shadowlands in Newcastle, and I thought that just meant the night it was released. So after a day a work I travelled in to meet hubby for quick bite and to do a bit of grocery shopping. We arrived at the cinema to find a small gathering, cue...
