Re: New song for Matilda

I really enjoyed that =D> ! I loved the line about being "pathetic...I'll knock you out like anaesthetic!" They are clearly very talented boys, I hope they keep at it. If they are that good at 13, just think how amazing they'll be in a few year's time! Well done!

I noticed my ds had been 'placed' with another mum! Sometimes I'd gladly give him away, but on the whole, I'd rather keep him thanks :D

Re: Billy Elliot - PG rating?

I agree wholeheartedly with you Lolalou. My ds (aged 10) is very shocked by swearing and refuses to audition for anything with bad language, and yes, I know he hears stuff in the playground, but I don't think that makes it acceptable. (I did have to giggle when he told me that one of his friends had...

Re: Star Now Advice & Safety

They are lovely photos, and your hair is stunning; it will certainly make you stand out at an audition! If there is anything that needs tweaking with your profile, then you are right, pg (I think that stands for Performance Goddess) will know. As for me, well I'm very new to this too, so I really do...

Re: Agency Dilemma

Thanks Riverdancefan, I really appreciate your advice. I think your answer is what I wanted to hear - neither agency has a major advantage over the other so it would be a waste of time to pursue both.

Thanks again x

Agency Dilemma

My ds has recently been taken on by a respected talent agency (Top Talent) - and we are really happy. We are due to go down to Hertfordshire on Sunday to have headshots taken and to hand over the necessary forms. All well and good... Then, this morning, I received an email from another very well-res...

Sylvia Young Scholarship

I just saw this on Jo Hawes website. My ds is too young to apply, but I'm sure there are plenty of talented dc's who fit the bill! THE ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation is offering one full scholarship for full time training at the Sylvia Young Theatre Sch...
