Re: Stagebox audition
We have experience in the development team but left for a variety of reasons including feeling it was extremely expensive for what it was. My view is that the elite team is a rather different thing and much better value. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Re: Savoy Theatre- Stephen Mear & Nigel Lilley: Stagebox Open Audition Call
I have a child in the training team in Leeds who certainly isn't in it for YouTube views, as they don't do the filming in the training team. He is in it for hard work and constructive feedback by a knowledgeable and committed team, and the opportunity to make new friends and learn loads. Well done t...

Re: Black Eye before TV commercial. Aaaagggh HELP!!!
Well we made it! Make up lady worked wonders and the very kind man at the opticians lashed his glasses together in a wearable fashion and you would never have known. He had a ball, and it's so interesting seeing little people click into 'work mode'. Thank for all the tips and encouragement. Been a r...

Re: Black Eye before TV commercial. Aaaagggh HELP!!!
Definitely getting there! DS has been diligently putting first ice, and now latterly warm compresses on it, plus arnica, which has all helped. Only downside is that to apply compress he had to remove glasses. Left them on the arm of sofa, and they were promptly snaffled and eaten by the dog. ](*,) ]...

Black Eye before TV commercial. Aaaagggh HELP!!!
Ok so first things first - DS is fine, but managed to collide at high speed with another child in the playground.(other child is fine too!) She was clearly taller than him as her teeth have gashed his eyebrow and his eye is like something out of a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Tvc on Friday assuming he doe...

Re: Children working professionally whilst at vocational sch
Fredabloggs my DS is doing the SY Easter course too so maybe see you there?! Very similar musings in our house re A levels, breadth of choice etc, plus at what point do you accept this 'hobby' has taken over to the point of directing major life choices. However it is wonderful to have a child who is...

Re: Children working professionally whilst at vocational sch
Thanks Humph, that's helpful to know. Redroofs looks lovely jasmine, but is it day pupils only? We are too far away from any of the schools so if it were to happen he would need to board. i am baffled at the prospect but he seems completely unswervingly motivated and excited.. One other thing... The...

Children working professionally whilst at vocational school
Hi A query for you more experienced folk out there. DS has been to a Sylvia Young holiday course and now has it in his head that he would like to go away to school at 11 (we are a few years off having to make any such choice but I'm gathering information). He has an agent and has done various short ...

Re: film V stage
The general opinion in my house seems to be: Matilda - stage =D> Unanimous. Everybody loved it. Les mis - stage but only just, and as napmfm said, kids only got into les mis after seeing film Sound of Music - film. Love it love it love it. Charlie - haven't seen stage yet - cast recording on hard ro...

He screwed his eyes up very tight, clicked his heels together and said 'There's no place like home, there's no place like home'.

Re: Tell me some thing about the movie Ben-Hur
To be honest, whether it is 100,1000 or 10000 words, since you are articulate enough to ask us the question, you would be far better putting your energy into attempting your own assignment than paying an essay writing company, or regurgitating the opinions of strangers from the Internet. That way th...
