Re: Mad Fish
Have a look at the article in the thread below this one. Mad fish is one of the 20 recommended children's agencies. However I would always want my child (and I) to meet their agent.i think it's important to have that personal knowledge and I'm sure improves communication. I'm not sure how many they ...

Re: School of Rock Audition 2018
There is a big thread in the musical theatre section all about school of rock. Have a look through, I expect lots of your questions will be answered. From experience I would say about 2 out of every 10/12 go through from first rounds to recalls, but it is difficult to really put a number on it. It d...

Re: Independent Castings Query
Your agent will realistically need to know so that they don't submit your child for anything that may clash. I would actually rather hand it over so they can sort out licensing and check contracts etc unless you are really confident with all that.

Re: Creative Kidz and Acting Kidz - views?
You need to tell them what is realistic in terms of availability for auditions in London at short notice and see if it's compatible with their ethos. May not be a problem if you live in London!

Re: Jobs outside of London
Your location is only important for theatre productions and there are some, for example Matilda tour and School of Rock who will also consider from outside a commutable area as they house. TV and film is made all over UK and abroad so it won't matter where you live if your child gets cast. You just ...

Re: Agencies suitable for a 16 year old - Abacus, Ora and D&D?
Have a look at Ardent Talent. A fairly new agency but has young people up to 20 on their books. Clients already racking up a good list of credits. My daughter is with them and couldn't be happier with communication, representation, encouragement, knowledge etc. An agency like D and D, although amazi...

You can try. All first round auditions have finished for this time though, you'd have to wait until June.

No, sorry meant that they have cast a girl as Freddie, in that they will also consider girls for the role, not that another has been cast for March.

Katie is the bass guitarist and then they have also cast a girl drummer, Freddie once. All other girls auditions will be 20th/22nd Nov I think.

I have to agree with FredaBloggs. We only live 2 hours from London and wouldn't consider relocating for SYTS. Whilst my DD would love to attend, and we did look at it seriously, she can gain the same access to professional opportunities through her current agent and she has a wonderful team who teac...
