Re: Dd in spotlight- where else can I find her auditions?

DS has had some brilliant jobs via Mandy or what was kCCP back then Including a great music video lead, ( check out Danny Howard’s Vargo music video) a voice over, a photoshoot for a top tog and a Moshi Monsters ad, all paid and a great experience. Sometimes the oportunities don’t come via the agent...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

Hello all LivvyVicky and myself have DCs at EDA 6th form, we can’t recommend it enough and I’m sure both her and myself would be happy to answer any queries you may have, if we can. If you want to see the 6th form in action then they are performing In the Heights next May. We went to see Les mis the...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

Many many congrats on your son getting Arts Ed offer Riverdancefan - what an amazing achievement. My DS was in the Foundation recall room with your DS on Saturday at MV and despite many years in NYMT, seeing each others shows and lots of friends in common they had never actually met before! So ther...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

Thanks so much everyone for the kind and encouraging words.
I do feel it's the better fit for him and even better, ArtsEd think so too, I am relieved this part is over for us earlier than I expected.
Thinking of all still at the beginning of the process.

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

DD bit happier now - 120 at Mountview today for MT BA - 10 recalls and 15 given free audition for Foundation of which my DD was one - so at least she now knows she’s at least on the right track but just not ready for BA yet but would be more than happy with a MV Foundation year - now to look at fin...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

It’s a hard one Lmum.
My DS didn’t get even a recall this week for the place he thought and hoped he was destined to go to, but got an offer from one he’s now excited to go to...weirdly there is something or someone looking out for them I truly believe it

The right place will snap her up x

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

Hi all, it’s been great reading and keeping up with this topic! Just wanted to ask some advice for Dd’s friend. Her mum is very unsure about her applying to do musical theatre at drama school and completely blanched when I told her it was £40-50 per audition, saying it was a ripoff! Obviously she w...

Re: 'Best fit' schools/colleges post 18?

Places like Arts Ed and Mountview don’t attend Move It or at least they haven’t when I’ve been there previously. It’s heavily geared towards dance. Lots of street and hip hop as well. My DS went a couple of times to touch base with Pineapple and Tring and do some dance and MT workshops but he hasn’t...
