Re: Should You Tell Your Agent If...
i've seen casting breakdowns that have been sent to agents, and often they ask that agents only put forward those who meet their breakdown - Agents don't look very professional if they just send anyone...as it wastes casting directors time - and as pg said, agents have a reputation to maintain so g...

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
They quote £60 (inc VAT) for an entry on their website. Either supply your own photos or use their photographer for £65 (inc VAT). No charge for the assessment session. This compares very favourably to those e.g. charged by Scream . They don't mention Spotlight, but that's quoted at £90 on Spotlight...

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
Good luck! did they say anything else? With the exception of the salutation, it felt like a standard letter explaining the procedures and costs. It did make a point of noting that they are very selective and only take on a very small percentage of applicants. We'll see what happens on the day! 8-[

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
I finally managed to get their website to accept our application a couple of days ago (after much trial-and-error I discovered that it doesn't like a full URL in the spotlight field, it seems, giving a simple single word "Forbidden" response if you try!) ..We got an email this afternoon in...

Re: BBC Cowboy Trap
Hmm. Forgot I'd written about this. I think we can sum up our experience thus: Total mistake. I'll just add that it seems that TV companies are as easily fooled by cowboy builders as us general public. One day I'll write it up fully, when everything is finally resolved. It'd make a great TV show, we...

Re: Workshop Auditon - scream
Well. It seemed a little bit disorganised. I wasn't expecting the "thanks, now go away" after they did the roll-call. (Nor were a couple I was stood next to.) I was expecting somewhere to sit and wait, hopefully with access to tea and coffee. Especially as they charged us £25 for this. Add...

Re: Mad Fish Management
I know, and I was very hesitant in making any criticism, however I was just trying to relate my difficulties in finding their contact details. I had read the many positive comments on here, and wished to contact them. I use email as a contact method primarily, as it ensures I have a record of my mes...

Re: Mad Fish Management
Mad Fish do state on their website homepage that if you do not hear from them you haven't been successful. I have nothing but praise for this agency, They represent my DD wonderfully. Always friendly, full of support & advice, Best of luck to those auditioning! If successful you couldn't be in ...

Re: Mad Fish Management
We've been considering changing agency (have to give notice to the current ones by 1st June if we want to change) so I emailed Mad Fish, over a month ago, but never even got an acknowledgement, which was a little disappointing. The complete lack of any contact details on the website doesn't help my ...

Re: Copyright
This might help: http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/copy/c-ownership/c-commissioned.htm Basically, unless it was agreed otherwise at the outset, the creator keeps copyright, however in some circumstances, for example when copyright is not dealt with in the contract to commission the work, Courts may be wil...

Re: Doctors letters
I have recently changed Doctor and in their website it says "Fitness to Exercise Certificate/Performance Certificate: £50-£75. My DDs agency want me to have a valid letter at all times - yeah right! I was just wondering whether this might be some other kind of certificate but I can't think wha...

Re: Good Phone Insurance Company
There is a good guide to mobile insurance over at MoneySavingExpert.com which should be a good start for looking around - headline is prices from £5/month. One point often missed is that it can simply be cheaper to add the phone on to home contents instance. Also, whilst a network's own insurance is...

Re: KidsCCP
We had a day out last week thanks to a kccp job. the posting was only live for a day, for a shoot two days later, so I don't know how any applications they actually got! When we got the email, the day before the shoot, I did phone them specifically to discuss licences, and yep, they seemed a bit vag...

Re: Fynns' Models
Just seen this thread. Thought I'd have a dig. fynnsmodels.com name is registered with privacyprotect.org, which is very suspicious for any commercial website. It's been around since July last year, but has always used privacy services to hide who owns it. http://www.fynnsmodels.com is just a wrappe...
