Laine letter has just arrived but DS is in school. I'm not holding out much hope though as it is a thin envelope, especially if some people have had telephone calls over the last couple of days. I've texted DS but I don't know if his phone is on. The suspense is killing me!!!

I know. We are waiting for Laine too. Plus DS found out on Wednesday that he has a reserve place at Mountview. He is near the top of the list but it means more waiting! These two are his favourites so it's hard to make any decisions or plans. It is driving me crazy!

lily31095, I think the degree auditions were the ones held in March (14th and 22nd). After the first audition there was a letter inviting you to a recall for the degree and giving a definite diploma offer. The May auditions are for the diploma funding only as far as I can see from the website. Good ...

I would think it is, as it is awarded for talent even though it is means tested. Well done to your DD for getting one. Which college is it for?

Thanks Welshmum, he doesn't seem too bad today. He is limping and will need a few days off from dancing, but hopefully he will be okay for Mountview next weekend.

Oh no Pearl, fingers crossed that it doesn't affect her singing too much and good luck for Friday. DS was happy with his audition, but has just arrived home limping badly with a pulled hamstring. He did it at the end of the jazz session (first thing) but has battled on so hopefully it isn't too bad ...

Congratulations to your DS molseymum, and thanks Lorry, my DS doesn't seem to have had that email. I'm a bit worried now that they didn't get his confirmation email or something. I hope he is on the list when he turns up tomorrow!

My DS is at Laine tomorrow too. How did you find out the numbers auditioning? He has phoned to say he has arrived safely and is installed in the Travelodge. Good luck to everyone, fingers crossed!
