Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

Open days I think are essential we visited some places that DD thought would be perfect and when she got there they just didn’t feel right. Time of for auditions was fine, lots of people move for sixth form so had interviews etc. I didn’t ask though I just informed them. DD auditioned for her first...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry

Good to hear everyone is settled and happy and ready to start their courses - all the very best of luck to them all doing what they have worked so very hard for! DD has loved Freshers week at Performers and they've really made an effort which has been nice and even included 2nd and 3rd years on the...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

Hello. Anyone know whether reference on UCAS should be school reference or performing arts reference? Also, employment section... do we put in professional theatre credits? Thank you.😊 Our school did the UCAS side of things and helped with the personal statement (with a bias towards her outside per...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

Hi all, jumping on post as my DD will be starting her auditions soon for next year's intake.......scary! I just wanted to ask do most people go to the open days? We are in Cornwall so to go to each of the schools she's interested in just for a morning or afternoon will be a bit of a nightmare, shou...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry

Hey guys! Coming on here again after a while and seeing everyone talking about money got me thinking! I'm going to Laines in September and my parents are paying for my tuition (which I am super grateful for) but not any of my living costs, travel costs, uniform costs etc. This means I'll need to ge...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry

Two girls from my daughter’s college were both offered diploma a few weeks ago after being on the degree waiting list. One accepted and one declined but both asked to stay on the list for degree after being told they were near the top. Neither of them have been offered degree yet so i don’t think t...

We are thinking £100-£120 per week...basing it on friends with children at Uni...this is to cover petrol and food etc...hoping she spends a lot less though! As long days and basically eating and sleeping at night. I have been advised to pay it weekly not monthly then no chance to blow it and run sho...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry

Hope everyone is doing well and not too nervous about 10th August...even though we know it 'should' be fine we just need to see it change to unconditional and know it's for definite!.

Good Luck everyone.
