Just spoke with my DS. He is at Avery Hills campus on Bird Degree.
Settled in well - just had a water fight with some of the other campus students

DS got DDM in his BTEC Extended Level 3 so is confirmed for his Bird degree place!

We are going to give DS £80 every Monday (thought if we sent it on a Friday it would be spent in a bar somewhere over the weekend...) We also pay his phone. Just preparing for DS sept start at Bird. Does anyone know when the Uniform list is produced and if there is anything in addition to the list that we would need to purchase (shoes etc)?

Bird College have sent accommodation list out. We decided that we want DS to go into halls as was getting anxious about house share and paying bills. Is anyone else going into halls?
