Re: How many colleges should you visit the open day for?

Under current DADA awards you can only get the maintenance grant if your household income is under about 30,000. Though this may change from September if they ever get round to publishing the new arrangements for DADA.

Re: Cheap hotel/B&B Kingston for NYMT workshop

You won't find any cheap parking in Kingston even cheap all day is £10. One of the reason's I'm at work by 7.30 to get one of the 500 staff spaces in the Bittoms. If you do park in the Cattlemarket beware that there is different charges for underground or on ground level.

I've been back stage at theatres where the stage manager calls you to the stage and another where we've had runners who came and collected the children and take to the stage. O...

Re: What PA/dance schools can or do take children from 16?

Take a look on directgov website under dance and drama awards page there are links to all of the schools that currently offer Dadas. Do wish they would update that page to reflect they won't be available from next year. London Studio Centre only take from 18 and as a private university you can only ...

Re: auditions for full time dance schools

My DS has also been away at school since 11 and is now in 2nd year of 6th form living in his own house with flat mates! I often think they are to young to be living this way, and there have been difficulties! those who go to uni will be at least 18 before living this way. At least he can still get a...

Re: Child chaperone

The reference sent out was also very through, asking about how she deals with her own children! which in her case is not applicable and how she...

Re: Anybody else out there, small for age?

We have an opposite problem, DS is 6ft very slim with very long legs. All he wants to wear is joggers preferably from well known shops! but none of them have long enough legs. We noticed in one shop yesterday that the ladies had short, regular and long in the joggers but not for the men. Usually to ...

My DS has asthma and has never had any problems with getting a licence, he has also had more severe health problems and has still never had any problems getting a licence. During a run of RB Nutcracker he had a severe attack and this didn't stop him continuing once recovered or being chosen to perfo...
