Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Yes it's very poor about the agent representation, especially from such a well known top musical theatre/drama school. Didn't expect, after attending there, to come out of it still having to look for agent representation. It is what it is and she will keep trying. But yes I understand your point abo...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Do you mean with a Diploma and Masters at 20 that it will work in her favour or not?
She did do a showcase and they had agents there but apparently only about 20% of the whole year group got offers. She is still with the agent linked to the school but it's not ideal

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Yes maybe, however, I am being told by my DD that she is looking at their graduates from the last 8 years and is not fully impressed with the work most have done up to now so I guess that's why she's contemplating possibly declining the offer. She's not looking just to fill the time but actually get...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Thanks for your response. Yes she has already done a 3 year Diploma in Musical Theatre at a London Drama School. She wants to pursue acting though. Their 1 year diploma is changing into a Masters in Professional Acting so it gives an ideal qualification and we would get funding. She would not have t...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with Drama Studio London in Grange Court London W5. My dd has been offered a place on the 1 year course in Acting and wondered how their training is and their productions as well as any work opportunities after the training. Do they easily get agent representation?

Yes she can’t wait! She also starts on 2nd September. The summer has gone so quickly. I’m sure they will have a fab time though.
Good luck to everyone on reserve lists still waiting!

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Anyone know when information gets sent out for the Diploma at Urdang Academy. Specifics like exact term dates, clothing requirements and time tables? Thanks all and good luck to all those still waiting for places.

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
My DD was not at the funding audition as she got a call the day after her audition to say she had a funded place and doesn't need to attend any recalls. All I am wondering is when they will finally send their formal offer letter. It's just nice to see everything in black and white!

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Hi all, I am new to this website and think it is great how much info we can get from each other. My DD (16 next month) has auditioned for a few places the last few months like ArtsEd, Urdang, PPA and she has got a immediate place at Urdang on the 3 year diploma course. Does anyone else who received ...
