The whole waiting game is so stressful! Yes my DD is waiting also from Central from same audition 2 weeks ago. hop...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

And so the waiting begins again on this years audition roller coaster. Central audition today - he made the cut to the afternoon recall and now has to wait to see if he gets a second recall. This apparently he will not know until mid April (if it’s a no I’m sure he will know earlier)! However, his ...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

Congratulations for the offer, I would say if you live local go back for the interview. If your DC wants Surrey University / GSA on her CV then she will get that, my daughters friend goes there she loves it (she got BBC in her A levels) and they do still spend much time in the theatre and wear the G...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

Thank you all for your suggestions and good idea about asking if they will defer Chichester triple threat looks a fantastic course but Trinity Laban was the favourite but their website has very little information. So hard to compare the courses

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

My DD was at Trinity Laban auditions Tuesday. She never got a tour but others did - it depends on the groups. At 10.30 half of the BA auditiones went back to cafe to wait 90 minutes (that was when students went round asking if anyone wanted tour). My daughter was in a group that did not break til 1....

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

WOW pushymums(or not) have you noticed how many views there are of this thread? Is that indicative of how many are applying (or considering applying for a later year) or just that everyone has cottoned on to how great this forum is?

Re: 'Best fit' schools/colleges post 18?

We liked Chichester when we went very friendly with lots of 18/19 year olds. Word of warning all the students we met at the GSA openday were in their mid 20s all 3 of the students showing our group around only got in on their 4 or 5th attempt so dont fret if you are not accepted at 18 as the student...

Re: 'Best fit' schools/colleges post 18?

Just wanted to add in case you have not spotted but from 2019 GSA have do not have any academic requirements. When we visited they said that 25percent did not even need any qualifications and the remaining 75petcent just needed to have attended higher education so basically BTEC/A level grades don’t...
