Re: Auditioning for 2017

Hi Mummyofthree Accommodation like Tramways is available all around the country for students you should be issued with a lease. I don't think for one minute that Chester Uni will house any students into Tramways if you apply for halls. The other thing to consider is if your DD offer is conditional ...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

Hi thanks for that my thoughts were exactly that she was thinking of putting Grosvenor down on the form but like you say if she was on her own I would think she'd feel isolated. I am just concerned should she put down Tramways on her uni application or go direct through the partnership company now ...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

Yes you're right it does have a good name. Well done to your DD =D> . What I think is that my daughter is a perfectionist & because she was in her opinion making mistakes she put herself in a downer & didn't enjoy the day haha. She said she liked the dance teacher but the others were too 'p...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

Congrats on her offers. When does she have to decide by? Would a further visit to either/both institutions be possible if she felt she didn't get a feel for Hammond. I don't know about Chichester but Hammond have an Open Evening on 9th May. I wonder if the building works were a factor as everything...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

The BA course at The Hammond is only in its 2nd year so obviously they do not yet offer a graduate showcase for the BA students since they do not yet have anyone in the graduate year. Talking to a mum of a first year diploma student the other day, however, it would seem that it will happen next yea...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

I saw Miss Saigon at The Hammond, ( more than once as my son was in it!). There were plenty of BA students in lead roles, as well as BTEC drama students and diploma students. They were all fantastic! Here is a review.Hope it is helpful! http://www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/news/chester-cheshire-news/r...

Hi yes I read they get 19 hours contact time. I know a friend of friends daughter does the course and is loving it! My daughter really enjoyed the audition too and felt at home there! Hope it goes well for her. Just a question did she do the regional first round auditions or did she go to GSA in Surrey?
