Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
My dd did diploma at Bird and just used her code on UCAS to get the Santander bank account even though she never got accepted for her degree and they accepted it fine. She earns a fair bit in the holidays so don’t feel too bad that she is using it and she is a student on a dada after all.

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Are Laine just generally slow at responding to emails? My DD has emailed them a few days ago but has had no response. I guess we need to call them instead in case it's going to their junk email. We’ve had trouble too (see my earlier post re: submitting videos). My DD submitted her videos again earl...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
We're in the same position here, DD got her Laine letter today. She also has Bird and Performers. Bird being her top and most affordable choice . Still think she will apply for the Dada funding for Laine. Can anyone fill me in on how this works and when its normally decided who gets the funding? so...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Hi everyone DD has been offered a waiting list place and not quite sure how this works. Would it be appropriate to enquire as to her position on the list or is that not the done thing? Also wondering if lists are dynamic and moving all the time or if they just move at the end of offers? Many thanks...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
My daughter at Bird now only has 7 hours a week face to face classes and then some online ones. We have no space at home for online so she’s been going to my mums but now with the increase this isn’t going to be possible so what are others doing? My daughter got a dada but college is costing us a f...

Re: Bird Reserve List
Still movement on this. My dd is on diploma and still on degree reserve. A girl is moving into their flat who has been offered degree 2 weeks into the course so must be higher up the degree reserve list than she is.

Re: Bird Reserve List
I'm glad that Bird and many other schools are offering hope to the students of Ballet West. I think it must be devastating to have your school close on you 1 or 2 years into your course. re LSC - I've read on another forum that the cancellation of the Fda Dance Performance course (which has a balle...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
Anyone in halls.for bird? We got an email cancelling her room at 5pm last night. Too late to talk to anyone. A few people on the freshers group said the same.
Will have to sort on monday.
