Re: Training at 16 or 18 ?

As above it's a difficult one but she obviously has the potential. I'd be prepared perhaps to have to give more support in the first year away from home but hey you're on here so I guess you will. Moving on, they cast the right person for the role. Unless age is a criteria it doesn't come into it, n...

Good luck to her!!

Re: messaging others on the forum

My understanding is that messages show up in your outbox until the recipient has viewed them, and only move to the Sent folder after they've been read. Sounds like maybe your recipients haven't checked their messages lately? I used to receive an email alert when a message had been sent to me, but r...

Re: Interesting tweet - student numbers

We were warned by people in the industry that at least two colleges were upping their numbers substantially this year, I'm surprised at those numbers though.

Urdang one is good. Maybe a good idea to do one at one of the places she's interested in.

Re: Auditioning for 2017

Fingers crossed. I've previously spoke to students who haven't had a place confirmed until August. If your DD is in first place I would imagine you'll know very soon. Well we didn't have to wait too long at all!!! We got the call this afternoon my DD has now been offered a DaDA at Laines \:D/ \:D/ ...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

I just wondered from everyone's past experiences when the cut off point is for DaDA awards being offered? I know many of you are going through an equa...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

Dd and I went to see the Laine summer show last night, fabulous! Thoroughly enjoyed it. We also got the chance to have a quick tour of her accommodation and meet some of the Laine students currently staying there. Very happy with what we've got. Exciting times! Dd can't wait for September :D I saw ...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

I'm just wondering if anyone else has come up against the same issue we are. I'm looking for advice. My daughter is 15 and 16 in July but as we are looking at housing for Bodyworks we are finding that age group few and far between and are worried about her house sharing with much older students. We...
