Sorry JayLou I didn't realise she had been called for the degree recall. In that case according to the terms on their website she should automatically be offered an unfunded diploma place irrespective of whether she is successful at obtaining funding or not. I think a call to Urdang may be required....

My DD has been offered the degree at LSC so will no longer require her accomodation for Performers. If anyone is still looking for accomodation for Perfomers please let me know and I can pass on the details. It is a recently refurbished house and only let to Performers students.

Afab not sure about specialty. She went to the musical theatre recall so assume that is the route she will take. It doesn't say anything in the letter. Does it state the specialty in your DDs information or do they choose once they start?

Thanks Steffysmum. Performers emailed me today and confirmed that the course is full-time and that all students from Performers are exempt from Council tax.

Thanks Performmum I will contact them to check. My DD has secured accomodation but it does not include council tax so if she had to pay that it could make it very expensive. Thanks

Hi does anyone know if there are conditions to claiming the housing benefit if you on the pre-voc eg are savings taken into consideration etc... In addition to this do you know whether you are exempt from paying council tax if on the pre-voc. thanks in advance.
