Re: HELP PLEASE
The whole industry and any college can make you feel this way it is very cut throat. My daughter went to performing arts college in London and university, she found the same as your daughter is experiencing in both places. Lecturers tell pupils they are 'sh8t' they are the wrong shape, too fat, too ...

Re: Chichester MT
Hello Our daughter completed the triple threat musical theatre degree course and graduated in 2021 at Chichester. This course is fine if your are a favourite of the lecturers. When my husband and I went to the shows and (we went to all of them that were performed) we noticed it was the same students...

Re: Guidelines for COVID 19for students
I cannot believe that tickets are available for freshers showcase, students are dancing in bare feet, they have just been told to get on with it and tough it out. DD has said she is fully expecting someone to become ill. She has supposed to have received an email with how her classes are going to be...

Re: Guidelines for COVID 19for students
Hello! I’m not surprised you are very worried! It sounds like your daughter’s Uni have made no effort at all. My DS is at Laine and they are doing ‘blended learning’. All singing, acting, voice and contextual classes will continue to be on Zoom. Dance classes have been set in bubbles of 5-7 student...

Guidelines for COVID 19for students
I am hoping some of you may be able to help me, my daughter has returned to University and I am appalled at the lack of precautions put into place for COVID 19. There is a one way system around the university which is fine. My daughter is taking her own food, hand sanitiser and wipes with her. She h...

Re: Best time to apply for Sept 2020
My daughter left it late the first year of auditions, we found she got very little offers as everywhere she went was nearly full. The second time she auditioned early and the offers came in. I would advise early as many places offer at each audition once they are full it’s get harder.

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
Hi Daisy Good advice here from previous replies. We decided to only apply to Universities and colleges that DD could afford to go to. DD then looked at the places she thought she was good enough to get in to and we had one dream place that she applied to with an outside chance of getting in. This na...
