Hi,it is about 8 hours of each not sure if that includes song and dance and ,
ensemble singing also a private singing lesson which is 1/2 an hour each week. I am not 100% sure but around those amounts, maybe a bit more rather than less.

Re: A levels alongside Musical Theatre Btech

We found Tring to be too academic, my DD was offered a place, with a small scholarship, I think she could do 2 A levels but that may have changed - she is now doing a BTEC which has a huge workload with it which has been a shock to many students. I think Tring was going to start UAL which is same as ...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

With regards to the mum who isn't keen- you want us to take the time to write about our numerous audition experiences so you can inform her?
Just go through the numerous threads on here and tell her yourself or even better give her the details and she can join and look through herself!

Re: Housing benefit for BTEC and Foundation 16-18

It is £57 per week. Your DC will be asked how rent is topped up and what they live on at a much later stage. All of this information comes through as the claim progresses, you think you have answered everything you need to and then there is a request for something else. Make a copy of the claim form...

He might be overwhelmed by the amount of glitter and Jo Bows but not anything else,in fact I think inspired by all the male performers that will be there. There are lots of workshops that he can take part in,you will need to book well in advance, mine has taken part in a fair few MT ones. Next year w...

We at started looking in year 9. I think early research is vital,in the year they audition, GCSE year, time is very tight and time off is needed for auditions. Look now and start researching. One of the best things we went to was MOVE IT. Lots to see there ,also follow all the top and not so top coll...

Re: Chaperone Qualifications

If you look at your local council website they should have details ours does.
They hold courses and are suitable for a volunteer or a professional one which is more expensive to do. I think it's well worth doing and something I have considered before .

Re: Brit school RES/APPEAL

No worries. It is such an emotional process from auditioning onwards. I too have had comments about my daughter's choice too,at times she has felt embarrassed about saying where she is going. I have had people say to me they thought it's the wrong place for her,one did apologise and after researchin...
