Re: Born to Kill - Channel 4 Series

Not heard a peep, it'll be a week since I auditioned tomorrow so after tomorrow I think I'll assume it's a no and forget about it

For those who auditioned earlier this week, Have any of you heard of any news or anyone being recalled yet?

I'm 18 years old, I don't look particularly young for my age though

Re: Born to Kill - Channel 4 Series

I don't have an agent or any professional experience so the only thing they could've used to decide to invite me for an audition must have been my headshot and a monologue video I had on my spotlight page. However that was when I applied first time round in February, I didn't have spotlight when the...

Re: Born to Kill - Channel 4 Series

When I asked if I the casting director had any other audition dates later than Tuesday, they said haven't planned any more first round audition dates past Tuesday at the present time. And I applied through the open call, not with an agent. So I guess all will become clear after the 20th?

Re: Born to Kill - Channel 4 Series

Screenterrier said the deadline for submissions is the 20th of September so I'm guessing we won't hear anything until then?

Re: Born to Kill - Channel 4 Series

I applied a while back and was called in for an audition but after speaking to the casting director, he said it was best to not audition if you have A level exams during filming. So would it be okay if I applied again because I didn't actually audition?

Re: "Pin cushion " feature film

I was asked for a self-tape last week and they told me to send it urgently as the director was reviewing the tapes at that time. So I'm guessing we'll hear some news within the next week or so.

Re: "Pin cushion " feature film

I didn't apply originally because I'm not from Derby but I emailed today anyway and was asked to self-tape for Iona. If you don't have a northern or Derby accent naturally, did you put one on in the self-tape?

Re: A wrinkle in time

I looked on Cast It for this casting but could not find it on there open calls page, has it been removed? I applied through Screenterrier and got an email this morning asking for a self-tape which linked me to Cast It, although I couldn't find the page I was linked to through the Cast It website its...

Re: Spotlight Submissions

Thanks for your help! Everything does seems to be very last minute. I live quite a while away from London so it takes quite a lot of time and effort to travel to castings normally, let alone when they're super last minute. I was just trying to figure out if the time between submissions and maybe bei...

Spotlight Submissions

I was just wondering, for a TV or film role, how long do you usually have to wait to hear back from a casting director (if they want to see you) inviting you for an audition after your agent has submit you on Spotlight?
