I have experience with 2 of those agencies. If you are in the south then it really does make a difference. TTA lots of internal competition, good communication nice friendly agency. Weekly my ds does 3.5 hours musical theatre & 3 hours drama. He does a ballet class & a modern class ( only been doing this for a year so likely less than other boys) plus a private singing lesson. What a great question, my daughter wants to go into the profession when older too, so she has a lot of classes with amdram when applicable. My husband has just started to complain about the amount if running around we do taking her to classes and rehearsals etc. At least now I can say she isnt doing...

I was told by a dance teacher that it is technique and knowledge rather than the syllabus, as I was looking to move dd away from and ISTD/RAD school.

My DD was with them and I found Jo to be very professional and communication was excellent. I believe she has very good contacts with Musical Theatre.

My DD auditioned at Blackpool at this college, she was offered her place within 24 hours of the audition. DD didn't like it and felt that there wasn't enough contact hours. The other thing that put DD off was the fact that people were auditioning who had never ever danced in their lives at all, DD ...

I did know of 1 girl a few years back that went and she found that the dance element wasn't very hard as she had previously done ISTD ballet tap and modern passed grade 5 I will try and contact her hr experience was from a few years back.

It's hard on the kids. I wish they knew that, it is not a good example to set. Maybe that is how we all are now.
