Re: Pressure Pit Gameshow warning

Thank you Admin and Yorkshire pudding. I have since had contact with a lot of other parents who have had similar experiences including some very dodgy messages, and several of us have reported to the CEOP. He did not know anything about licenses or release forms, and provided a home address for the ...

Pressure Pit Gameshow warning

Hi there, i wanted to just let you know of a bad experience my daughter had online. A job was advertised on Mandy.com website, by Pressure Pit Gameshow, where they advertised for children 10-14 to be paid £100 (with travel too) to be in an online gameshow (YouTube and Instagram) where there kids ans...

Re: ACTORS EDITING SERVICE - Self tapes/ Showreels

This may be of interest to us as we are hoping to get some material together for a showreel in next couple of months. Will be in touch, thanks.

Re: Braces

This is just the thread I was looking for! Thanks all for the great advice and info. DD who just turned 11 just had 1st orthodontic appointment and has been told she needs full fixed braces now, and for about a year. If we do it now she gets full funding due to her situation, but that could change i...

Re: Self Tape Success Stories

DD got her initial audition for a well known play from a self tape (she went on to get the part through normal face to face auditions). They were looking for the ability to do an accent I think. She had to talk about herself on the self tape and we literaĺly got the brief at 1am, and had to be in by...

Re: Chaperoning and hours allowed on a 2 show day

Brilliant Dogcop thank you.
I think it will be fine then as its for 9 and over. I am going to make thwm leave for an hour and a half between shows, and hoping the interval breaks of 25 mins will suffice for the 15 min breaks and that they don't need to come right out of the theatre for them!

Chaperoning and hours allowed on a 2 show day

Hello guys, looking for advice. For stage shows, I know children are only allowed to work for 4 hours in a row, but what happens on a Saturday when they have a matinee show and then an evening show. It's a production only on for 1 week (so only 1 day with 2 shows) Shows are 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Show i...

Re: PD Managment?

My dd was with them and they were great, very approachable with good communication. Jo was very supportive and even came to one of my dd's shows.

Re: West End Calling Competition

You're definitely entitled to feel that way. My dd loves to be on stage and so I feel that extra performing opportunity is a bonus. I have always had to buy tickets to see the shows she's been in anyway, even those through her stage schools, in fact I usually end up spending more than for this exper...

Re: West End Calling Competition

Why does it have no benefit? It's a very good performing opportunity / audition practice, with valuable feedback. The audition feedback was excellent and there was lots of it.

Re: West End Calling Competition

Hi, we are involved in the competition this year. I emailed to ask about ticket sales and what happens if you can't sell the 5 tickets per round. They said it isn't a problem. You just don't get the £30 deposit back. This is how the voting works... The amount of people going through the heats depend...
