Re: So, who wants to come with me & see this?

Scottsboro Boys has at least 1 british boy in - Carl Spencer...

Re: Help with second audition for Purcell School.

DD had to do a Flanders and Swann for her Grade 4 (The Warthog)...would tick the rhythmis button, is contrasting, and requires acting and is really quite technical. Another she did was 'Elsie Marley' a sort of folk song but fast and spirited and again needing acting as well. These are both from ABRS...

=D> =D> =D> SNN, Riverdancefan and Twototango - Huge congratulations on making the next round, we are gunning for you! DD sadly not recalled, she says OK, but I feel not entirely as she actually really does love Shakespeare! Still, only 12, so we hope they do it again in the future....onward a...

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time

Courtesy of KidsWeek, DD and I saw this today. We have both voted it BEST EVER. We loved every bit of it, even as we arrived early (never in my life before), we thought the theatre staff charming! Dynamic, exciting, innovative (it is NT), witty, sad, relationally complex, cute and totally absorbing....

Re: Phantom of the Opera

DD and I have just had a fabulous day out packing in some KidsWeek shows. First up - The Phantom Workshop - was worried she wouldn't enjoy this as top of age range BUT we bumped into an old chum, and she loved the activity - learnt how to stand still!! hold a pose and a simple routine, but felt she ...

The Globe are doing a FAB job with this casting process so far, =D> =D> =D> they have been clear and timely in their communication, organisation today was efficient and friendly, we were told og=f our hour wait, and it was almost to the minute! DD enjoyed her slot, auditioners were friendly and put ...
