Re: Auditioning for 2017
After many months of auditioning, incredibly proud of my dd being offered a foundation in acting at Mountview. This drama school was by far her first choice. She also auditioned for Artsed, Guildford and Central. She is absolutely over the moon. The course starts at the end of August. Anyone know o...

Re: Best value Foundation courses?
Hiya, long time posting as my daughter is already into her second year but a friends daughter has just been offered an acting Foundation at Mountview. It is three evenings a week 7-10pm and costs £2,500 Sounds like a good option if you are nearby but just wondered if anyone had experience of it? Be ...

Re: Auditioning for 2016
Hi dancingmoll, They have only just started the BA course, my dd was offered a place last year and she would have gone onto the degree course if they had completed all the documentation. So there may be some students who joined last September on the degree. I imagine the personal statement is a requ...

Re: Institute of Arts, Barcelona
They haven' had a graduating year yet, but the plan is to do both. Invite some out to Barcelona and also hold some in London. They are at Move It this year. I'm going out in a couple of weeks to see end of term assessment work so be good to see how they have progressed.

Re: Auditioning for 2016
Hi rebby01 really don't worry about pointe, my dd auditioned last year and there was the option of doing some pointe work if you wanted, my dd chose not to as not her favourite. Lots of all other forms of dance, song and monologue as standard. DD got offered a place.

Hi, my DD is at IAB on the BA MT course and loving it. Best decision for her. Days long but climate and location help. Teaching seems amazing. DD made lots of friends from all over the globe. They run foundation, degrees and MA's in dance, MT and drama. Please do message me if you would like more. B...

Re: Auditioning for 2016
I just wanted to post a massive thank you to the NAPM forum. My dd was beginning her MT auditions last year when we heard about The IAB in Sitges, Barcelona on this forum. After looking at their website and talking to a few more people my dd decided to look round and audition. Once all her auditions...

Re: September 2015
I am thinking it could get very pricey if we lost the deposits. Why can't they all have an agreed time for offers and answers it would make our lives so much simpler. Another revenue stream my cynical head thinks!

Hi Lorry, my dd found out today she had an offer following audition on 5 Jan, but think the offer had been there for a few days as she didn't get the notification which was odd. It wasn't after we chased it up that they told her to look on UCAS! Good luck to ur dd.
