Re: Modelling while at university?
When ds was small he did loads of modelling and a number of jobs were with uni students as his "parents" they seemed to do it all the time and fit castings and jobs around their study commitments. They were all London based though if I remember correctly. They said it meant they didnt have...

There are some lovely one in Private Peaceful (Michael Morpurgo)- either the book or the stage play version.

Re: Modelling
If you have the right temperament as a child (patient, placid, easy going with complete strangers -children and adults - and patient some more) it is enormous fun. Ds had a great time as a youngster and Romeo is actually quite old to start modelling. It is a lot less time consuming than stage or fil...

Re: How to perform at the Edinburgh fringe festival?
If you are still at school or college its worth trying to get a member of staff interested who can help you put a show together, raise profile/interest/funds etc. DS had a fabulous time for a week at the beginning of August with a group from his school, so successful they are already planning next y...

Re: Lord of the Flies
Did anyone else see the production of Lord of the Flies last year (I think) at Regents Park Open Air Theatre, clever casting of small young actors who really looked 12-15! One child (3 boys in rotation) was in the cast to play the youngest in the story. The set was cleverly creative too.

Re: MOT Models
We have no experience with the teen agency but DS had a very busy 9 years with them up to 2005 when school commitments and a conversion to boarding meant that he had to stop modelling. Looking at their website I do see a number of young men who were modelling with DS as little ones, are still with t...

Re: Matilda The Musical
Went to see the show last night and was captivated from start to finish. =D> =D> =D> =D> Congratulations to the magnificant cast of children, some loving every minute of their opening night (any NAPM children?). Hugh special well done to the new Matilda - you did a stunning job! :D One of the shows ...

Re: Theatre school for secondary school
It's a few years ago now but ds was offered a place at SY with some funding and I'm sure he would have been very happy and successful there. We decided against it in the end because he is an all rounder and his current school (also fee paying) offers the music and sport too which he would have misse...

Re: Best Baby model agency?
DS started modelling at 10 months - with MOT, herts based outfit, would thoroughly recommend. Hard to know where the time's gone now he's 15 and heading for 6 foot!

Re: Successful audition, but problem
The children cope fine with this "double booking" if it is for only a short period - as long as you're ready to spend most of your time in the car!

Re: Boy treble audition songs - musical theatre
When he was younger my ds sang a couple of songs from "Honk" - "Different" and "Now I've seen you" both sung up an octave sound great and show off a good range
