Re: Monologues

She should know them inside out. The Mono Box offer a cheap, supportive option to get feedback on your monologues in advance of auditions.

Re: GSA VS Mountview

Well done what a great position to be in. I have to agree with the earlier comments, you need to trust your own instincts. Both schools have excellent reputations and either will bring you new opportunities. Somehow you will know which one you will thrive in. At the end of the day it's your own deve...

Re: September 2015

Can anyone offer advice? My DS has been auditioning for four years. Each year he has progressed and in between Drama School auditions obtained enough contracts to get his Equity card and Spotlight membership. No agent. He has in the past turned down offers from some CDS schools which didn't offer th...

Re: Guildford Recalls. How long?

Will keep everything crossed for you and your DD hope it's good news.
This is a difficult time for those auditioning.
My DS has two final stage recalls coming up RWCMD on Saturday and RCS on Monday.
He's fine we're not!

Re: Mountview MT audition

Bruno2, Mountview, RCS and Central all have separate intakes for Musical Theatre as well as Acting. Last year my DS got to final stage for Musical Theatre at Central even though he'd applied for Acting. Seems he put it as second choice at audition stage! He went but he's only really interested in st...

Re: September 2015

Your are right, the waiting is awful. My son has got a number of recalls this time and a waiting list offer from his first one. It feels like one firm offer would take the pressure off but given BOVS is the last one I think we'll be on edge till the end.

Re: The how long between application and audition thread :)

Rhymie was he there Saturday! My DS was and he thinks they'll hear within 10 days. He also said they have changed the process this year and are likely to send out mostly waiting list offers until all five recalls have been held.

Re: NYT members casting tomorrow

Congrats to all successful dd's and ds's. My ds trained last year after second time audition, one of the older one's - sorry. He loved it and was an ambassador at this years auditions. Now just waiting on his own results for 2012 NYT productions.
