Re: 3rd year support

Bird have had full shows but with tickets limited to 2 per student. And flipping amazing too. 😁 Shame our other children couldn't come along too but it was fantastic to see the professional standard. We were blown away. They've had agents along with some students getting agents although obviously th...

Re: Bristol old vic

Rhymie where is the like button? :D I hand it to your DS for 4 years auditioning. Well deserved place. Dd's friend got into GSA at her 3rd try. My nephew is auditioning for BOV in a couple of weeks and has recall for Bruford which he really likes. You have to admire them for doing these auditions. H...

Re: Beginning dance training at 20?

I don't think age is too much of a problem but I agree check the funding situation with degrees/ HNDs and student finance. DD did foundation at 18 so started degree at 19. Ages vary on her course. For acting courses they often prefer slightly older applicants so maybe spread the net on courses unles...

Re: Scholarship audition not submitted - what do you do?

I agree. Leave it now. No more emails to the school as if she did want to try again there's no point in risking annoying them. However their treatment would leave a sour note for me and maybe they're not the right choice. All smiles if they think you might pay up then curt replies does speak volumes...

Congratulations sailor girl. Really happy for you. It's nail biting isn't it? Especially after they've done a foundation. Good on him and yes pressure off now so just go and enjoy the auditions.

Re: lcm

They do a 4 year musical theatre course with a foundation year at the start. Now I may be wrong but I think this could be one of very few ways to access a funded foundation as you could audition again for a degree elsewhere at the end of the foundation year. Obviously this would use up one of your f...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019

WOW pushymums(or not) have you noticed how many views there are of this thread? Is that indicative of how many are applying (or considering applying for a later year) or just that everyone has cottoned on to how great this forum is? How many are there? Couldn't see where that information is. But ye...
