peel cast for Thomson ships.

I think my dd would just be glad to get a job to be honest rather than the pay. She auditioned for peel and got down to the last 14 or so in leeds last month and was told she was on the books but is yet to here anything. There was no recalls or anything all done on the day just sang a couple of bars...

hi has anyone any experience of these auditions. do is thinking of attending next week. She has done peel but these seem a lot more intense. Any advice please. She is a singer.

Thanks everyone. It's a waiting game now so just going to forget about it for now. One thing she did say is that she was probably one of the youngest there at 20 so they may be apprehensive about her taking a leading singing role at her age even tho I know she could. so fingers crossed .

Well dd had her audition with peel talent she was more nervous than usual but out of her group of 25 they kept 6 which she was one of. There was another group and I think they did the same there. Can anyone tell me if Tney think gimme gimme is to overdone for a singing audition. My dd sings it really well but is scared they will be sick of hearing it for a cruise audition. It was either that or love me I do from dreamgirls which is alot harder to sing and I feel it could go wrong on the day....

One more question my daughter is quite worried about is do you have to be a size 8 ! she has heard this. She Is not big a healthy size 12 and feels this may go against her as she's presuming most will be 8/10s .

I think the casting director was cath Willis not sure Were she is based. I think a London/Manchester agent might be best. her present agent says she gets the same work as London agents but Im not so sure.
