Re: Auditioning for 2024 entry
Is everyone for song choices? I know that was one of the trickiest things as there are so many invisible “don’ts.”

Re: Auditioning for 2024 entry
I am a firm believer that the right school will choose you. DD was in the audition process last year after foundation and had set her heart on Arts Ed. She was on the reserve and kept everything crossed that she’d get in. She had other offers that she declined and had pretty much made up her mind to...

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
DS went to Arts Ed. The first year of auditioning he got LSMT and Trinity Laban but decided he wanted Arts Ed so did a foundation at GSA and the gamble paid off. A foundation year makes all the difference. My advice would be to audition with the goal to get in, but be prepared to take a foundation a...

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
We are in a different position this year. Dd has been lucky to secure several offers including Urdang (2nd year of auditioning) & we are now looking at pros & cons of each college before making a final decision. Lots of factors to take into consideration including how many students in year ...

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
I’ve been wondering that too. DD is on the reserve list. She tells me that it’s not done in order of how they scored, but more of if they need someone with a similar look. Are you in the same position ?didancer55 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 2:45 pm Hi. Anyone know number of places on offer for Urdang degree 2023 intake?

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
Not sure if the Woking halls will be open this year. A lot of students stay here https://futuregeneration.com/student-ac ... n-village/
It is a bit more expensive but the place is amazing and has loads of facilities.
I’m sure she’ll be very happy.

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
Has anyone had any experience with waiting lists eg Conti, Arts Ed, Mountview, Urdang? From what we can see they all work quite differently.

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
Hi DD just had offer for Italia Conti foundation. Is this worthwhile? Anyone any experience of foundation courses? This is the only offer (apart from academic courses at other unis as she is still torn about what route to follow) Advice or info appreciated! We live in the north of Scotland so this ...

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
It's such a nail-biting journey - as we all know! My DD had a recall for Italia Conti on Monday and is now waiting, had a rejection from ArtsEd Tuesday, and is still waiting for a response to online submissions for GSA and Mountview - both submitted at the end of Jan. All for MT. Fingers crossed fo...

Re: HELP PLEASE
I sure there isn’t a student out there on any course that hasn’t had a huge wobble during their first year at uni/college. With MT you also have the exhaustion element. Long, physical days take time to adjust to. I hope your DD starts to love it soon.

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
That’s what I’m concerned about. The letter said she should hear in April / May. It’s all the waiting around. She has. Mountview recall and hadn’t had any more face to face interviews yet.

Urdang Waiting List - does anyone have any experience how this works at Urdang ? DD got waiting list after initial audition and doesn’t have to do the recall. Thank you
