Last minute help needed: format of a physical portfolio

DD has a casting tomorrow
They want a physical portfolio

So matt or gloss photos? What size? How many? mounted on black card?

Everything has been done online for so long I can't remember the (very good) advise I was given previously!

Re: Chaperone Qualifications

Is it necessary to have this course to be a chaperone? How does one become a chaperone? I was thinking about it for my next career change I have an updating DBS, a level 7 in early years up to date paedicatric first aid (well I will when I complete the course I just started) - what else should I hav...

Sites for looking for work - possibly more use for graduates than for children

But I never had a child performer so I'm not sure! My list is slightly skewed towards dancers.....for obvious reasons :D & facebook - The Hustle, Actors UK & London Auditions and casting have also been very useful. However I analysised DD's job success and most jobs have come by word of mout...

Re: Low pay/no pay vs you have to start somewhere

I think she has done well - she has certainly stuck at it! For 8 weeks.... She won't apply for as many again as she is starting to work out which ads are worth applying for - some we have got a fair way in before realising they are unpaid or a bit of a can - she'll avoid that type if she sees simila...

Re: Low pay/no pay vs you have to start somewhere

Re: Low pay/no pay vs you have to start somewhere

You have to understand you don't get to know exactly what everyone does, so my impressions are put together by hearsay/fb/gossip and conjecture I seemed to me that this year more students had jobs by showcase (may) than had jobs by the end of year (july) for the last 2 years put together!! And good ...

Re: Low pay/no pay vs you have to start somewhere

Yes but 6 months work 6 days a week for less than £25 a day is pretty horrific I think No-one got an agent as far as I am aware - DD just got a commercials agent and she is doing some extra work She has done 10 paid jobs and has 2 lined up (ranging from a few hours to 2 weeks work) she has been very...
