Re: Ballet/tap classes for 12 year old boy

My DS started ballet at age 9 and went straight into a Grade 4 class, mainly since there was another boy in there and girls he knew. He took a handful of private lessons as well to get him up to speed. The other boy left not long after but DS carried on and moved up to Grade 5 with the others and lo...

Re: Harry Potter Stage Play!!!

If only my oldest ds performed, this would be a perfect role for him. He jumped out of the back door aged 2 in an attempt to fly like superman and has a perfect Harry scar on his forehead!!!! :D

Sounds interesting though. Xx

Re: what to do?

Thanks for all the great advice. Ruby95 your thoughts were great as an insight and deep down we all know that ds is the type of child that would always wonder 'what if'..... He has already said this! Just spoken to our headteacher and he said to 'go for it', the school would be supportive. If he doe...

Re: what to do?

Thanks, this is what my gut feeling is too. He so wants to join an agency later in the year after an amateur production of Whistle Down the Wind that he's in finishes and we thought that Oliver would be a good introduction to the 'bigger picture'. If we do enter into this world I jut need to find so...

what to do?

Just realised when oliver auditions are for bristol and they clash with ds school residential. Being in sw we don't have a lot of chances like this. This would be his first big audition and he had been looking foward to it. Am i wrong to even consider missing the trip or part of it. My ds is 8 and d...

Re: What direction to go in?!

Thanks for your views. It is such a big decision to make but we are looking at all options. He so wants it but we also need to be practical.

Will keep you posted...

What direction to go in?!

Hi all, I'm hoping someone will be able to help me..... My ds is 7 and is desperate to perform. He has been attending Stagecoach for 3 years and just completed a run as 'Chip' in an amateur production of Beauty and The Beast. He wanted to join the Stagecoach agency but I felt that it was too big, as...
