Re: Williamson and Holmes agency london
Hi we have seen their kids at auditions, I guess it might put alot of people off applying as you have to do it by post. Good luck to your dd for the audition - you'll get a better feel for them there.

Joining spotlight at 19 and agencies in Manchester
Hello Looking for advice for my friend's daughter who is 19. I've only got young kids performers so I am not familiar with what happens when you're an adult. My friend's daughter would like to find an agent to represent her. She has a lot of amateur experience (main roles in Shakespeare plays etc) a...

Re: Which agency for theatre, tv rather than commercials?
In my humble opinion - if an agency is a business - why would they not submit clients for adverts if this is what would bring them most money... true that some kids get more commercial than film/stage work but I'd say every reputable agency submits for everything suitable.

Pianist to record a backing track needed
Hi, my dd would like to record a song which doesn't have a backing track available. We bought the sheet music but are having a hard time to find someone to record it for her to use. Does anyone on here know of a pianist who could play it and record it in MP3 for a small fee? Thanks

Hello My friend's dd (18 yo) is applying to join an agency for the first time. She put a CV together (not worked professionally but is a very strong musician and performed in that capacity) and needs a cover letter to explain why she wants to be represented by this agency. Can anyone who is more fam...

Re: Is dancing once a week good enough?
Jennifer1972 would you mind telling us more about what conservatory training is and what sort of classes your dd takes in the 6hrs. My dd does 3 hrs of dance and I was also thinking it's not enough and looking at how to increase it so any input would be much appreciated.

Re: Communication with agent
Hi, I understand your frustration, when they are so young and change / grow so quickly you want to grab any opportunity and not sit around losing time. I think what might have happened here was that your agent didn't submit your son because either he was already in the run for the other WE show you ...

Re: Songs for 9 yo
He must be slacking off and relying on my music degree (classical). No, we pay for lessons. I only posted here to ask for song suggestions similar to others asking about monologues etc.. Learning alone in the universe this week, thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Songs for 9 yo
Hi islandofsodor and thank you for your input. I agree but think it also depends on the age of student. Mine's only just turned 9, and although obviously some songs are more 'challenging ' to her than others I think at her age it's more about fun and not overdoing it by straining your voice.
