Saw this in the paper today The film’s casting executives are looking for brothers and sisters (cousins could be in the mix, too) to play the Oblonskys’ five children, who range in age from two to eight. The groupings must include a girl of around eight to play Tanya, the Oblonskys’ eldest daughter....

I would look at it in reverse, if you really wanted your dd to go to an audition that you could find no other way of getting her to would you ask a fellow parent who was already taking their own child? If not you have your answer! I think also she is underestimating the level of parental support nec...

Thanks so much everyone. It's not so much lack of auditions but a lack of communication in general. Obviously I don't know if that would be any better with a bigger agency - is it fair to expect feedback after recalls etc? As I say we are new to this so maybe my expectations are too high!

Thanks very much irishdancer...it may be we don't do anything about it... I guess it may well be a case of it's not broke don't fix it..and this current dissatisfaction with agent is hopefully just a blip....

Again, thanks Irishdancer! So your DS auditioned for one agency while still with another - so that's not a real no-no then.. I just didn't know if these things were done in confidence or whether agents talk to one another, so your current agent might get wind of the fact your child was auditioning e...

We are quite new to this and I'm just trying to work out whether to stick with small friendly agency or whether to pursue a bigger better known one - what are the advantages of each? Did any of your ds/dds start off with a smaller agency and then get either poached by a bigger one or did you approach a bigger one once you felt that was appropriate, ie: once their career had progressed?
