Re: Performance Licences
I will try this once they are back after the Christmas break. Unfortunately £40 is the volunteer cost. If you're not a volunteer it's £84!!

Re: Performance Licences
Thanks Flosmom. I haven't heard of this type of licence before. I'll look into hopefully it will give me the right answer.
My own council and its neighbour are both great when it comes to kids licences, its just this one.

Re: Performance Licences
Unfortunately I did speak to the correct person. They are all new to the department and as such are reviewing everything and they have been told to licence everyone!! The reason they gave us that the premises are licences so all performers need licensing! Any parents will have to be chaperones as on...

Performance Licences
I would appreciate some advice on Licences. I have just been in touch with my local council with regards to my DCs Dance schools' annual show to check what they need in the way of information for licences. I am doing this as some of the children have been in Panto over christmas and so they need a l...

Re: is your DC affected by M25 requirement for London roles?
I agree that homeschooling should be taken into account. I live a similar distance from london as Flosmum and my DH works in London, so I know its possible to do. With a lot of castings and jobs moving to Manchester, it actually makes things worse for us as it would take so much longer to get there ...

New Associate Programme in the midlands
Just seen in Dancing Times that there is a new Associate programme starting in Leicester. Graham is a fantastic teacher so it should be really good.

Solo songs for boys.
Please help. I'm looking for a new solo for my ds, he's 10. I would describe his voice as a dodger rather than an Oliver. He's done "consider yourself" and "little people" but now wants something new and I'm struggling to find anything suitable. All suggestions are gratefully rec...

Re: Rugby safety
All my dc's play rugby at mini level. Dd2 is the only girl in a squad of 70 boys her age, she loves it and it's full contact. We are very lucky that we also have a girls section for my dds to move on to. She went on a course last year and the coaches thought it was hilarious that she was spending on...

Re: Sheet Music for Audition
Not sure yet. I think he'll do something else as the director might get a bit bored of the same Oliver songs all evening! Just got to talk ds into it as he knows consider yourself really well!!

Re: Where have all the trolls come from?
Has anyone else noticed that all these odd people have a birthday within a couple of days of joining? Maybe a good way to weed them out before they post.

Re: small potatoes
Told DS before he went to bed. He's a bit upset but we were expecting it. At least I get to spend tomorrow at home with my DD on her birthday!
Maybe it's a recall if you haven't heard yet, you never
know.

Same here. It'll be interesting to see the type of voices they were looking for when it comes out.
Has anyone got a recall?
