Well there were 26 at the GSA recall today, 4 kept back for interview (2 girls, 2 boys), sadly dd wasn't one of them. I've spoken to her, she is fine and feels she did her best. Onwards and upwards!

Dd has her first audition tomorrow at LCM. GSA and LAMDA soon after. Central and Mountview in April. Her ArtsEd ones will be throughout March, she is doing the Foundation there so they do one discipline a week, think it's acting first for her. Fingers and toes crossed in our house. Kzgirl, I think it's a bit of a balancing act. The main reason dd did the foundation was to bring her dance skills up to the standard required for auditions. Her head of year was very keen they didn't audition until they were as well prepared as possible.

Dd hasn't had her first audition yet, she is doing a foundation year at ArtsEd (MT) so purposely leaving it late, on their advice, to get the maximum benefit. Her auditions won't finish until April. Dd starts her MT foundation at ArtsEd on Friday, she moved into her house share on Monday. She has lovely housemates, all on the same course. I just wanted to wish all those starting their courses this month the best of luck and to say I'm thinking of all the mums and dads who'll be missing them.

Fantastic news for your dd Lindy. Make sure she is on the waiting list for accommodation, there will be some students who just don't turn up for the start of term. There will also be facebook freshers pages for GSA and the University, someone might be seeking a flatmate, get her to join. Good luck.
