The Gut Girls (character Annie) is a good one, my DD won a place at East 15 with it. You will find it online

Re: Lots of luck to all auditionees! & a place to put results

Well done to all your DCs who have graduated, a huge achievement! My DD decided to take another route. After studying MT from the age of 2 she made the decision, at 16, that she wanted to pursue straight Acting. She took the local college MT BTEC Diploma as it was a better course than the straight a...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

Thank you everyone. Anyone who's DC has been offered a Foundation, I can recommend it. We were lucky because the East 15 Foundation qualifies for a Student Loan. My DD would not have been able to accept it without. :D

Re: Auditioning for 2017

My DD has just completed a Foundation year at East 15 and I'm thrilled to say that they have now offered her the 3-year BA Acting. She has had a wonderful year, it has been the making of her! It is a superb Acting School and I'm so happy she has another 3 years there. There were 60 on the Foundation...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

After studying MT at college my DD took the decision that Acting was for her. Whilst studying the Btec MT at college she did some Shakespeare with local drama societies which helped her immensely. Last year she auditioned for Acting BA at a number of places but had no offers. She was, however, offer...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

It may be worth phoning or emailing them to see how set in stone that is. I did that last year when my DD was offered a couple of places at PPA, explained that she was still waiting for some responses, and they extended the date. I'm not saying it will work but it could be worth a try.

Re: Auditioning for 2017

I'm pretty sure you don't pay for recalls anywhere - only for the initial audition.

Re: September 2016 starters

We took our DD up to Essex on Saturday to her shared house. She starts at East 15 next Monday so the housemates are using this week to bond. It was painful for me but extremely exciting for her. Good luck to everyone starting their journey, and good luck to the parents they leave behind x

Re: Auditioning for 2017

My DD wasn't confident with Maths when she was doing her GCSE's so I forked out for a tutor. It was well worth it. She passed with a C first time and never has to do Maths again, phew!!! She had to drop one of her out of school classes for it but If you can afford it I recommend it. It will save a l...

Re: Auditioning for 2016

It is great to see the final results in writing, DD did MT diploma and received Distinction* Distinction* Distinction* can't ask for more than that. Her East 15 place was conditional but then changed to unconditional a week ago, not sure why. Anyhow, UCAS is showing it as CONFIRMED and that's all th...

Re: Auditioning for 2017

My DD will be going through this again, auditioning for an Acting Degree. She was lucky enough to gain a foundation place at East 15 for 2016, and she is beyond excited to get started, but I'm not looking forward to going through all the auditions again!!! ](*,)

Re: Auditioning for 2016

My DD needs accommodation at East 15 and we were expecting to sort it at their Welcome Day next month but it looks like a lot of people have already sorted it out. She is trying to find people on her course to share with. ](*,)

Re: Auditioning for 2016

My DD has accepted her East 15 Foundation offer now. I'm relieved the decision is made. We were waiting on LAMDA but decided to not attend the recall for their foundation in the end, as we would not have been able to fund it. She is really excited to start and East 15. I'm just not looking forward t...

Re: Auditioning for 2016

Carriecrafts that makes sense. I was told DD could have 4 years funding so your post explains it perfectly to me - thank you :D
